India has high hopes from Divyansh Panwar. Divyansh Panwar has reached Tokyo to create history in the Olympics. Born in Jaipur, Divyansh will compete in the 10m air rifle event. Apart from this, Divyansh Panwar and Elavenil Valarivan will aim for a medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Doubles.
The 10m Air Rifle event is very special for India. The 10m Air Rifle is the same event in which Abhinav Bindra created history by winning gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Now Divyansh is creating history in this 10 meter air rifle.
Divyansh’s achievements are big at a young age
The world ranking of Divyansh is second. Divyansh won 4 Gold in World Shooting Championship. Won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. Out of these, 1 gold and 1 silver have been achieved in singles while in mixed doubles, 3 gold and one bronze have been achieved.
His and Elavenil Valarivan pairing in mixed doubles is feared by shooters around the world. The pair is also participating in the Olympic Games together and this pair is being considered as one of the contenders for gold.
Divyansh is the youngest in the Indian squad of 127 players. But Divyansh is expected to give India a big bang in the Tokyo Olympics. Divyansh himself has also said that he wants to get nothing less than gold for India on the biggest stage of the world.
